Developed a browser-based, database driven, rich Internet application that implements a proprietary business model. The project used MySQL databases and PHP/Apache (LAMP) on Linux servers.  Programmed in HTML, JavaScript and jQuery for the client side of the application.


Passguard, Greenwich, Connecticut.
New web services helping Internet users manage their passwords and bookmarks to websites. Developed an XUL/JavaScript toolbar for Firefox with an AJAX/XML back end interfaced with PHP and MySQL, created a C# Windows application to interface with Internet Explorer.


Grants Financial Publishing Inc., New York, New York
Developed a DRM (Digital Rights Management) billing system in PHP and MySQL for online publishing of PDFs. System includes a DRM security server to enforce publisher’s copyrights, and an e-commerce publishing system for a bi-weekly financial newsletter.


WaterWireless, Greenwich, Connecticut.
A provider of marina based Wi-Fi Hotspots. Developed billing system in PHP with a RADIUS server interfaced with MySQL for user management. Installed equipment, provided day to day support.

Oversaw the development of web publishing and e-commerce projects. Managed the day-to-day maintenance of the existing 120 websites running on Solaris and Apache. Covered many technologies including PHP, Python, Perl, Java, C++, Oracle and MySQL.

Wall Street Research Net provides the Internet with on-line financial research. In charge of all computer aspects, including HTML web page development, web server maintenance, networking, Perl, C++ and Java application development and day-to-day management. Created feed programs in Perl to process data from 10 financial data providers for storage in an Informix database, including news feeds and real-time stock feeds. Developed and maintained e-commerce systems for pay products. WSRN was one of the largest financial websites in the world, with over 250,000 users in the late ‘90s. Sold company to Jupitermedia.

World Trade Centers Association, New York, NY
Developed an on line web commerce/billing system for trade documents and trade services. The system replaced a legacy system running on a private network worldwide. Installed and configured Netscape Enterprise Server with CyberCash.


MCI Telecommunications, Raleigh, NC
Designed and developed a web interface into MCI’s problem tracking system. Allows users to track and browser problems on MCI’s worldwide phone network.


First Union Bank, Charlotte, NC
Defined, documented and tested the Internet application architecture and security policies for the Capital Markets Group (CMG). Provided assistance in installing and configuring the Netscape Publishing System.


XEROX, Rochester, NY
Created XEROX first client/server web application for the Office Document Products Group (ODPG). Projects included competitive intelligence application that allows XEROX sales teams to compare their competitor’s products against their own and a product survey system that maintained user surveys on certain Xerox products in an Oracle database.
